ECR 3000 Water Softening & Conditioning Filter How a Water Conditioning Drinking Water System Provides High Quality Water. Counter-current brining The Series 3000 Conditioner starts regenerating the resin bed from the bottom of the tank up. The brine solution spreads through the quartz underbedding and pushes up with a piston action, lifting the hardness up and out of the tank. This is a critical difference, because downward regeneration — common in other systems — removes hardness from the top of the bed (where it is most prevalent) and deposits it in the cleaner resin below. This previously clean resin must now be regenerated, which uses more salt and water. The best in consumer protection The Series 3000 Conditioner carries a comprehensive consumer protection package. It includes our Advantage Warranty and a bonded warranty which is guaranteed by Safeco Insurance Company of America. The Crest of Excellence provides system replacement within one year of purchase, if the system has a repetitive, uncorrected problem. The Perfect 10 Warranty is an optional saleable extension of the electronics portion of your warranty.
